Méribel celebrates the start of a new season in a week-long festival at the annual Spring Party.

Few alpine resorts rival Méribel when it comes to having a good time. For those heading out for ski holidays in France next week, the Spring Party promises to be an entertaining introduction to the Three Valleys.

From the 13th until the 20th March, guests are likely to get swept up in a favourite yearly tradition of the resort saying a fond farewell to another fantastic winter ready to welcome in the spring season in style.

As the days get longer and the temperature rises, live music, comedy and sporting events are sure to lure holidaymakers away from their ski chalets in Méribel for the next week. There are several parties happening all over the resort so make sure you explore Méribel and make the most of one of the last festivals of the season.

This year visitors can enjoy activities such as Zumba, luge tobogganing and freestyle sessions at the DC Park, alongside the street parties and BBQs.

Experience Méribel’s infamous après-ski scene first hand with a line-up of familiar faces and some new bands to attract crowds. This year, DJs Norman Jay and DJ Danz will be getting the party started, while popular post-ski venue Rond Point are hosting The Ronnie Loves Music Festival 2016 featuring one of the resort’s favourite groups, Dutch Courage, as well as a new band causing a stir on the mountains – Die Funkt.

With over 45 events, concerts and sporting games on offer, this year’s Spring Party is set to be one of the biggest yet. Join in the fun for one week only and discover the exciting atmosphere in Méribel.
