Meribel has triumphed in a recent community vote, winning Best Ski and Board Resort Overall and Best Après Ski Resort in the SnowVole Awards 2015.

Meribel claimed the top spot in two of the most coveted award categories: Best Ski and Board Resort Overall and Best Après Ski Resort. As well as being one of our favourite resorts, it is clearly highly recommended with skiers and snowboarders across the globe for both the ski experience and afterwards too.

Meribel is the main shopping area in Les 3 Vallees and has a regular street market that adds to the charming atmosphere of the village. For après-ski, Meribel has one of the best selections of restaurants and bars of any ski resort in the world – you are spoilt for choice!

Les 3 Vallees triumphs too

Not only did Meribel triumph, but the overall ski area of Les 3 Vallees was named the Best Resort for Lift Infrastructure. Meribel sits in the centre of Les 3 Vallees and offers access to over 600km of pistes. When you visit Les 3 Vallees you can ski in other great resorts aside from Meribel, that make up this ski area, including Courchevel, Saint Martin de Belleville, Val Thorens and La Tania.

La Tania also triumphed in the SnowVole.com awards, winning in the category of Best Child-Friendly Resort.

SnowVole.com is an online website where skiers and snowboarders can chat about all the awesome ski stuff that interests them. For the SnowVole Awards 2015, the voting was done entirely by the public, from nomination and shortlisting, to crowning the overall champions in the categories.

The ski community has spoken: head to Les 3 Vallees for the best ski area, and stay in chalets in Meribel to be right in the heart of the best resort!
