Inuits Piste provides fun for all the family
Make those special memories with your little ones, as Méribel offers family ski holidays in France with a whole host of activities to keep children and adults alike amused on the resort’s Inuits Piste.
Every Sunday to Friday throughout the winter season, those staying in ski chalets in Méribel can find even more entertainment on the slopes at Inuits Piste. Each day the safe piste plays host to a range of activities that are free to enter and guaranteed to provide fun for all the family.
Have fun together on the small slaloms as your youngsters build their confidence on skis, and once you’re tired out, they can continuing playing with plenty of activities to participate in.
The Inuits Piste offers different events everyday including a chance to learn about the culture of the Inuits as they dress up in the traditional costume, build their very own igloo or complete the trapper trail with their newly learnt skills.
Children are also invited to enter a number of games and competitions to win special surprise prizes when they try out mystery fishing or snow golf. There’s also a snack bar serving up hot chocolate, a welcome sight for parents watching their kids from the sleigh-shaped deckchairs.
Wednesdays see Inuits Piste’s friendly hosts Lucas and Lassana welcome holidaymakers to the Inuit village fair – where once again, children can take part in team games such as snowball fights. Heading back down to Méribel centre, the fun doesn’t stop there as families navigate from a choice of two fun trails – both presenting characters and facts to help children learn more about the area.
Accessible from the cable car Saulire Express 1 and chairlift Altiport, Inuits Piste is situated near the beginner’s green slopes close to another family favourite – the Moon Wild piste, which features models of the Alp’s wildlife for youngsters to identify.
