Great opportunity to enjoy indoor skiing in London

In partnership with The Telegraph, Chel-Ski located off the Kings Road in SW6 is offering special passes at a discounted rate to enjoy some summer indoor skiing.

For those who are missing the snow and slopes, a London-based facility is offering an indoor skiing pass to help keep you in ski shape during the summer months.

In partnership with The Telegraph, Chel-Ski located off the Kings Road in SW6 is offering special passes to enjoy some summer skiing. Customers can purchase a Summer Lift Pass to help save money whilst hitting their indoor slopes.

The pass is valid until the 30th of September. Chel-Ski is London’s biggest indoor ski centre. It offers UK skiers and snowboarders a great environment where they can hone their skills. The centre has a unique set-up. All of the ski surfaces are watered sections of Astro-Turf. To adjust for different abilities, the indoor slopes are mechanically operated. The staff can raise the pitch higher or lower to accommodate for ability.

The surface at Chel-Ski is on a conveyor belt and it moves under you. There is a bar on the slope to be used by beginners to improve their balance and stability. The Chel-ski centre is a great place to learn basic techniques prior to heading out on that luxury ski holiday in France next winter. It is also perfect for seasoned skiers and snowboarders as well.

With the Chel-Ski summer pass, users can choose how many sessions they want per week to really get the most benefit. Visit The Telegraph for more information.

There are a number of other facilities in the UK to help you develop your ski and snowboarding skills. For beginner skiers, they are perfect places to learn before heading out to the Alps. There is a ground swell of support for indoor facilities. For more information, the GO SKI GO BOARD initiative is backed by Snowsports England and is a great way to get started.
