FAQs - How does a chalet holiday with Ski Olympic work?
A ski/snowboard chalet holiday might look slightly different to your typical vacation. If you have never stayed in a chalet or chalet hotel, you might not be able to visualise what your holiday could look like.
In this blog, we break down some frequently asked questions regarding a Ski Olympic holiday...
What’s included in my holiday package?

How do we get to the resort?
When you fly into Grenoble airport, your transfer coach will be waiting to take you and your fellow guests from the airport to resort. You will also depart on the coach from the hotel back to the airport on the final day of your holiday.
How do meals work?
As a guest in Chalet Hotel La Foret, you will enjoy breakfast every day and dinner six nights a week (our staff take Thursday’s off). Breakfast is served 08:00-09:15, and we serve dinner at 19:30 (canapes from 19:00 on the first evening).
You will eat in the dining room of the hotel, and you will be seated with different guests who are also staying at the hotel that week. If you are on holiday with a large group, we can reserve you a table in advance.
We can recommend several places to enjoy your evening meal on the staff day off and also make a reservation on your behalf, or you can dine in La Caverne (must be booked in advance). Please speak to Gary, our Hotel Manager, upon arrival.
If you are staying in Chalet Isabelle or Chalet Eve, you can also choose to dine in La Foret with the hotel guests, which must be booked no less than 7-days in advance of your holiday. Find out more here
What happens after skiing/snowboarding?
Most of the lifts close at around 17:00, which leaves you plenty of time to wind down before your evening meal.
We offer afternoon tea - a lovely selection of cakes and sweet treats, bread and jams, and tea and coffee - between 16:30-17:30.
After dinner, you can move into the bar and enjoy a wide selection of hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, until 23:00.
