Catch Eurostar’s Ski Train to the French Alps this Easter

If you’re heading out for a ski holiday in France, Eurostar’s ski train will get you on track to the French Alps | Ski Olympic News

If you’re heading out for a ski holiday in France but would rather make the journey on land, Eurostar’s ski train and new services will get you on track to your catered chalet in Méribel and other resorts in the French Alps.

The ski train is a popular means of travel to the alpine climbs, with visitors able to catch the two Eurostar services from London St Pancras International or Ashford International and connect to their chosen ski resort for a week of winter sports on the slopes. Ski trains travel via Lyon or direct to Bourg Saint Maurice.

As the Easter holidays beckon, the service gears up to transport holidaymakers with two services a week to Moûtiers train station, just a short coach ride from Méribel.

Stunning views await passengers as they climb higher and higher into the mountains, one of the many perks making rail an enticing choice for visitors. The direct route also makes it a hassle-free experience in comparison to arriving at the airport or ferry docks and then having to navigate your way.

From Saturday March 25th passengers will have even more travel options to help them get to the Three Valleys by rail. Eurostar will launch its new schedule with three additional services per week leaving the station at St Pancras and going directly to the south of France.

The services, which take passengers to Lyon, Avignon and Marseille, will run every Monday, Friday and Saturday, helping holidaymakers to arrive in time to either catch the connecting ski train or arrange an alternative transfer up to Méribel.

Offering fantastic scenery and a stress-free lift to your holiday destination, it’s well worth exploring the ski train and new services when making your way to Méribel this Easter.
