European Mogul Championships to return to Manchester
The European Indoor Moguls Championships is all set to feature at Chill Factore later this month, providing fantastic action for skiing fans to enjoy in preparation for their skiing trips to Meribel or other stellar ski resorts this winter.
Inviting some of the best skiing talents from all over Europe, it’s sure to provide a stunning spectacle for skiing fanatics to enjoy. After the inaugural event last year was a fantastic success, this year’s instalment is sure to prove a real hit amongst the UK snowsports community. With a custom-built set of moguls crafted on one of the UK’s finest indoor ski centres, skiers will need to implement great balance and rhythm in order to deliver a flawless descent down the run.
Will Feneley among those competing
Among the world-class athletes set to feature over the weekend is Briton Will Feneley. A talented and versatile skier who also competes in Park and Pipe events, Feneley will be returning from training in Australia to compete in the event.
Morwenna Angove, CEO at Chill Factore said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming some of the best mogul skiers to Chill Factore again and we wish all of the competitors the best of luck, particularly our sponsored racers who’ve come up the ranks here in Manchester.”
The European Moguls Indoor Championships will feature at Chill Factore on 17 and 18 September, with the action kicking off on Thursday 17 with both singles and doubles competitions. The next day will play host to the second round of competitions where the podium places will be confirmed.
Those visiting Chill Factore over the dates should bear in mind that only 50 per cent of the slope will be open for regular users. If you need some inspiration before your family ski holidays to France in the months ahead, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
